TROY, NY - The Union men's tennis team posted the second win of the season with a 7-2 triumph at RPI Thursday at Sharp Courts. The Dutchmen were led by
Vic Ravikumar (Briarcliff Manor, NY) who won at third singles and helped take first doubles.
Freshman
Matt Goodnow (Boxborough, MA) won in singles for the second straight time this week, posting a straight set victory while also joining
Mike Kanner (Scarsdale, NY) for an 8-4 win in #2 doubles.
Tom Haynes (Hanover, NH) was a winner in #4 singles and joined
Joe Wold (Casper, WY) for a doubles victory at #3 doubles.
RPI junior Ed Cullen (Wakefield, RI) and sophomore Rohit Kumar (Mahwah, NJ) won at first and second singles, respectively.
Both teams compete in the Liberty League Championships this weekend at St. Lawrence.
