SCHENECTADY, NY – The men's tennis team began its Fall 2008 home schedule Tuesday with a matchup against Oneonta. The Dutchmen took two victories in doubles play, but ultimately lost to the Red Dragons, 7-2.
The tandem of senior
Vic Ravikumar (Briarcliff Manor, NY) and freshman
Dan Nault (Longmeadow, MA) claimed the team's first victory in the first doubles spot, defeating Matt Steinhauser and Mark Cannizzaro, 8-6.
Sophomore
Alex Katz (Lexington, MA) joined classmate
Matt Goodnow (Boxborough, MA) in the third doubles spot and walked away with an 8-6 victory. The duo defeated Scott Bell and Will Sacco.
The Dutchmen return to action Tuesday, Sept. 30 with a 4 p.m. contest against Lemoyne.
