SCHENECTADY, NY -- Kaleigh Ahern has been named the Liberty League Women's Swimming & Diving Co-Rookie of the Week for her performance in Union's meets vs. Middlebury and Amherst. Ahern shared the honor with Caroline Shannon of Vassar.

In a dual meet at Amherst, Ahern won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:09.69 and also helped Union to a 200 medley relay win in a time of 1:53.82. At Middlebury she contributed to a 200 free relay victory with a time of 1:43.67.

This is Ahern's first career honor. The Dutchwomen have received three other weekly honors this season.

Unin will compete Saturday at Hamilton at 2 p.m.
