Koetteritz, Dutchwomen host Dartmouth and No. 6 Harvard in home season finale

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Only four games remain in the season and senior defenseman Jackie Koetteritz and the Union College women's ice hockey team will play it's final two home games this weekend, hosting Dartmouth on Friday at 7 p.m. and No. 5 Harvard on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Fans who can't make it to Messa Rink can follow the Dutchwomen through live stats and live video at unionathletics.com. In addition to Koetteritz's finale at Messa Rink, the Dutchwomen will host it's third annual 'Pink at the Rink' on Friday against Dartmouth. (Click here for more details).

Entering Friday's game against Dartmouth, Koetteritz has played 121 games in her career and registered 10 goals, 13 assists and 23 points. She is also two games away from tying Kelly Lannan '07 for most games played in a Dutchwomen uniform (123).

While the Dutchwomen are 4-10-1 at Messa Rink, freshman Alana Marcinko has played well in goal in her first season, carrying a 1.73 goal-against average and a .949 save percentage. Junior forwards Marissa Gentile (1g-4a), Callee Heywood (3g-2a) and sophomore Molly Kate Devin (2g-3a) have produced the most points for the Dutchwomen at home with five.

Scouting Dartmouth
The Big Green has won four of it's last five games. Dartmouth recently defeated Yale, 6-3, on Feb. 5 and Brown, 4-2, on Feb. 6 in it's final home game on the season. After playing the last eight games at home, Dartmouth will finish the four remaining games this season on the road.

Senior forward Sarah Parsons (17g-18a-35p) leads the team in all three categories. She is also second in ECAC Hockey in scoring. In second on the team is junior forward Amanda Trunzo (14g-12a-26p). Forward Camille Dumais (10g-13a-23p) is leading all freshmen in scoring, both on the team and in ECAC Hockey.

Senior Mariel Lacina has played the majority of the season in goal. In 20 games, she carries a 2.67 goal-against average and a .898 save percentage. Dartmouth's power-play percentage (20.0) is second best in ECAC Hockey.

Scouting Harvard
Ranked fifth in the nation by USCHO.com, Harvard is on a six-game winning streak. In addition it has also won eight of it's last nine games. Like it's travel partner, Dartmouth, Harvard will conclude it's remaining four games on the season on the road. Prior to facing the Dutchwomen on Saturday, Harvard will face Rensselaer on Friday at 7 p.m.

Junior forward Kate Buesser (11g-20a-31p) leads the Crimson in all three categories. Her assists are second most in ECAC Hockey. Forward Jillian Dempsey (9g-13a-22p) is not only in second on the team but leads all freshmen. Eleven players are in double digits in points.

Senior Christina Kessler and freshman Laura Bellamy have split time between the pipes this season. In 15 games played, Kessler carries a 1.39 goal-against average and a .944 save percentage. Bellamy holds a 1.09 GAA and a .947 save percentage. Bellamy and Kessler have the best GAA in ECAC Hockey, while Bellamy's is second best in the nation.

Harvard's defense averages 1.40 goals per game, which is second best in ECAC Hockey.
