HAMILTON, N.Y. - The Union College women's hockey team were set back, 2-1, by Colgate on Friday. The loss moves Union to 5-27-1 overall and 1-19-1 in ECAC Hockey.

Sophomore goaltender Kate Gallagher made 43 saves in goal, setting a personal best for a game. But power-play goals by Jordan Brickner and Hannah Milan in the second period lifted the Raiders over the Dutchwomen.

However, Union fought back in the third period. Senior defenseman Jackie Koetteritz scored outside the right faceoff zone during a five-on-three power-play goal 7:02 into the period.

With 2:35 left in the game, head coach Claudia Asano pulled Gallagher from the net and used an extra attacker on the ice. The Dutchwomen prevented Colgate from scoring on an empty net but couldn't score the equalizer.

Union concludes the season on Saturday at No. 10 Cornell. Faceoff is at 4 p.m.
