Sixteen Dutchmen selected to 2009-10 ECAC Hockey All-Academic team

Luke Cain is one of 16 Dutchmen on the ECAC All-Academic list
ALBANY, NY – The Union College men's ice hockey team had 16 student-athletes represented on the 2009-10 ECAC All-Academic team as the conference announced its 181 all-academic selections Wednesday. Of the 16 Dutchmen on the list, 11 were named to the team last season.

This year's selections make up the largest group in Union's history. In Nate Leaman's seven seasons as head coach of the Dutchmen, he has helped mentor 63 all-academic picks.

Student-athletes are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.
