SCHENECTADY, NY - -
Kristin O'Connor scored her second goal of the game in the second overtime period to send the Union College field hockey team to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Rochester Yellowjackets at Frank Bailey Field. The Dutchwomen improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the Liberty League while Rochester fell to 3-3 (0-1).

In the second overtime Kelsey Powers ran the length of the field, dodging multiple defenders and dished the ball to Bethany Crowe. Crowe sent a hard pass across the middle to O'Connor who settled the ball and fought it past a Yellowjacket defender into the goal.

In the first half Union got on the board first on a Isabel Zellweger goal at 21:00. Zellweger corralled a Powers pass in front of the goal and sent a hard shot past Rochester goalie Madison Wagner for a score. The Dutchwomen increased their lead with a goal at 28:17. This time it was O'Connor scoring her first goal of the day by tipping a pass from Nicole Merigliano.

The second half belonged to the Yellowjackets as they scored twice to tie the game. Their first goal came at 52:57, when Shelby Hall scored an unassisted goal from deep with some power behind it. Allison Beardsley knotted the game with her rebound of a Rochester shot off a corner. The Yellowjackets had a couple shots stopped before Beadsley gathered the rebound and put it past a diving Sarah Rios
