SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Union College Volleyball Team closed out their Liberty League weekend with a 3-2 win over Rochester Institute of Technology. After topping the Tigers with scores of 25-20, 24-26, 22-25, 25-12 and 15-12, the squad ended the cross-over contest tied for fourth with Vassar. The Dutchwomen are now 19-12 overall and 6-6 in conference play.
Senior Eve Richards led the Dutchwomen with 23 kills, nine digs and three service aces. Sophomore Casey Tepper had a double/double with 22 kills and 18 digs. Leading with 19 digs, sophomore Marissa Vollmer had an impressive defensive game. Freshman Claire Kokoska contributed five block assists while junior Nora Wood and senior Mary Foley each had four assists.
The Dutchwomen are set to travel back to Saratoga Springs next weekend, October 28-29th, for the Skidmore Invitational.
