Swimming Falls to Ithaca on Senior Day

SCHENECTADY, NY- The men's and women's swimming teams hosted Ithaca on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Pool on Senior Day.
 
The men lost by the score of 180-120. Adam Herzog won two races. He won the 1000 free in 10:11.82 and the 500 free in 4:55.55. Brian Scarlett won the 200 backstroke in a time of 1:58.35 which was .58 seconds ahead of Ithaca's Jeff Rapp. Zach Wahl was the winner of the 100 fly with a time of 52.97. Ian Drillinger won the one meter dive with a score of 262.12.
 
The women lost by the score of 161-135. There were two double winners. Sarah Bradner won the 100 back in 1:02.38 and the 200 breast in 2:11.52. Danielle Young won the 200 free in 1:59.13 and the 500 free in 5:23.73. Madeline Ashworth claimed the 1000 free with a time of 11:03.22. Andrea Marois won the 200 fly in 2:15.73. Kaleigh Ahern was the winner of the 200 breast with a time of 2:29.02. Ahern and Young were also members along with Priscilla Wright and Eric Fugger who won the 200 relay with a time of 1:39.71.
 
Next up for the teams are the UNYSCSA Championships on February 23-26.
