Power Play
Christine Valente tallied another power play goal for the Dutchwomen in the draw against Quinnipiac, Valente's goal pushes up the team total to nine this season. The Dutchwomen were able to beat the Huskies in their hope opener with a 3-2 win back on September 29. Against the Terriers, both teams have suffered defeats with the Dutchwomen losing 6-2 and the Friars 7-1.

Record Book Watch
With the Dutchwomen's win against Syracuse, Shenae Lundberg notched her third win of her career, putting her tied for tenth in all-time wins in program history with three. Teammate Alana Marcinko has six wins which ranks tied for third in team history. Forward Stefanie Thomson is now tenth all-time in career goals with 13 along with Kelly Lannan (2003-2007) and Melissa Johnson  (1999-2000). Christine Valente matched her season-high of three power play goals last year with her score against Quinnipiac. Valente needs one more to tie the program high in power play goals in one season. Only two Dutchwomen skaters have accomplished this, Lauren Hoffman (2008-09) and Elizabeth Flanagan (2001-02).

Going for No. 20

Coach Claudia Asano Barcomb has won 19 games for the Dutchwomen in her six seasons with the program. With a win, the coach will be 10 wins away from the all-time wins mark set by Fred Quistgard who was the coach from 1999 to 2004 who compiled a 30-97-6 record during his tenure.
