Daniel Carr each scored in the final 10:00 of the third period to help No. 7/8 Union men's hockey (8-3-2, 3-2-1 ECAC Hockey) earn a 4-4 tie against Princeton (3-4-3, 2-1-3 ECAC Hockey) in front of 1,867 fans at Messa Rink.

Greg Coburn scored in the first period for the Dutchmen, who led 2-1 after one period of play, but allowed Princeton to score three unanswered goals in the second period.
Gostisbehere had a goal and two assists, and Carr had a goal and an assist to lead the offensive attack for Union.
Sophomore goaltender
Colin Stevens made 14 saves in net and was relieved by junior goaltender
Troy Grosenick midway through the second period. Grosenick stopped all eight shots against in 32:37 of action.
With the Dutchmen trailing 4-2 late in the third period, and both teams skating 4-on-4, senior forward
Kyle Bodie found Gostisbehere open at the point. Gostisbehere fired a quick wrist shot through a screen between the legs of Princeton goaltender Mike Condon (38 saves) at 12:57.
With just over a minute to play, Carr tied the game on a breakaway, taking a long stretch pass from Gostisbehere and beating Condon with a backhander at 18:46 to tie the game at 4-4.
Kyle Bodie nearly won the game in overtime for the Dutchmen, but his wide-angle shot missed an open net midway through the extra frame.
Princeton took an early lead as Tyler Maugeri scored on a rebound off a wrap-around attempt
by Andrew Calof at 4:15, to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead.
Union answered with two goals in the second half of the period regain momentum. Coburn scored on a slapshot through traffic at 10:07 to even the game at 1-1.
Later in the period with the Dutchmen on their third power play of the frame Carr found Jooris skating hard into an open lane, and the junior beat Condon on a one-timer at 15:57 to give Union a 2-1 lead.
Princeton would score two quick goals to open up the second period, as Eric Carlson deflected a shot from Aaron Ave past Stevens at 1:09, and Will MacDonald scored on a one-timer off a pass from Andrew Kesselman at 3:44.
At 12:23, Princeton would take a two goal lead, as Tom Kroshus' shot from the right point deflected off of freshman defenseman
Tim Boyle through Stevens to give the Tigers a 4-2 lead heading into the final period of play.
Union outshot Princeton 42-26 for the contest, including a 15-4 advantage in the third period.
The Dutchmen will hit the road next weekend for games against Brown and Yale, beginning with the Bears on Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
