Zaccareo wins third straight singles match, but Union men's tennis falls 7-2 to RPI

SCHENECTADY, NY - Freshman Grant Zaccareo recorded his third straight win in singles play, but the Union College men's tennis team (4-6) fell to RPI (8-8), 7-2, in its final Liberty League match of the spring season.

Zaccareo, the reigning Liberty League Rookie of the Week, earned an 3-6, 6-1 (10-8) win over Kyle Borton in the No. 3 singles spot. He also teamed with junior Andrew Schwartz to earn an 8-6 win in doubles play over Borton and Patrick Russo.

Union will host Hamilton on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in its final home dual match of the spring season.
