Meet Results
AMHERST, MA - The Union College women's swimming and diving team fell to Amherst College 168-118 in the first dual meet of the season. The Dutchwomen took home first place in three events during the meet.
Heather Wright earned a first place finish in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall at 25:13.Also placing first for Union was
Sarah Dimmitt as she won both the one-meter and three-meter diving events.
The Garnet and White collected a slew a second place finishes as well. Wright place second in the 100-yard freestyle.
Clara Shealy in both diving events,
Brittany Kenny in the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard IM,
Anne Trojanowski in the 100-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle and
Christina Belforti in the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard freestyle all earned eight points a piece for the Dutchwomen.
The 200-yard freestyle relay quartet of Wright, Trojanowski,
Alexis Wojtowicz, and
Christy Brown were the final second place finishers for Union during the meet.
The Dutchwomen will be back in the pool next Saturday as they host Williams.
