Meet Results Meet ScoresSCHENECTADY, NY - The Dutchmen fell to Springfield College 156.5-141.5 and Hartwick College 163.5-128.5 in a tri-meet held at Alumni Gymnasium Pool on Sunday afternoon.
John Enquist led the squad as the sophomore won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:13.93 and came in second in two events, the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard IM. He was also a part of the 200-yard medley relay team comprised of Enquist,
Andrew Welch,
Brendan McClure and
Benjamin Nadareski that took home first place with a time of 1:37.79.
Nadareski claimed the top spot in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall at 21.32. He also took home a second place finish in the 100-yard freestyle.
Welch placed first in the 100-yard backstroke and came away with a pair of second place finishes in the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard backstroke.
McClure finished with one second place finish, touching the wall at 2:05.78 in the 200-yard freestyle.
On the diving side,
Sam Hoyt placed second in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events. In the 1-meter, Hoyt had 289.50 points and in the 3-meter, the freshman had 287.77 points.
The Dutchmen will be back in action next weekend as they host RPI on Friday night and Middlebury on Saturday afternoon.
