Union skated to a 2-2 overtime versus Harvard at Messa on Nov. 8.
Spencer Foo scored an extra attacker goal with 46 seconds left in regulation to help Union garner a point after falling behind 2-0. Against Dartmouth the previous night, Union let a 3-0 lead slip away as the Big Green scored with 50 seconds left in regulation, then pulled out the win on Tim O'Brien's overtime goal.
Daniel Ciampini tied the Union single-game record for points (6) on Saturday, a feat accomplished just twice in 24 Division I seasons. The six points were also an NCAA season-best mark. With his third career hat trick and a career-high three assists against RPI, Ciampini matched the record set by Jason Ralph (3-3) against Colgate on Nov. 5, 1999. In the course of one night, the senior forward jumped from 24th to 19th place on Union's all-time scoring chart, surpassing the 100-point plateau in the process.
The Mayor's Cup also provided another record-setting moment as senior goaltender
Colin Stevens earned his 47th career win, taking over the top spot in the school's record books. Stevens owns a 47-16-6 record in 76 career starts.
