SCHENECTADY, NY-- The Union College men's ice hockey team continues its 2015-16 campaign on the road at #14/15 St. Lawrence and #17 Clarkson on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. and Nov 7 at 7 p.m., respectively.
SCOUTING ST. LAWRENCEThe Saints enter the weekend with a 5-2-1 mark, including victories at the University of New Hampshire and Penn State on Oct. 16 and Oct. 30, respectively. Christain Horn and Sean McGovern lead the team with six points each. Horn has three goals and three assists while McGovern has two goals and four assists. Kyle Hayton has a 1.99 GAA and a save percentage of .930. He made 38 saves in the 4-2 victory at Penn State on Oct. 30 and stopped 25 in the win vs. UNH.
St. Lawrence was 20-14-3 last season but got hot in the ECAC Hockey Semifinals, winning the best-two-of-three series at home over RPI before losing to Colgate in the Championship.
SERIES AGAINST THE SAINTSSt. Lawrence is 22-32-0 against Union in Union's Division I era since December 7, 1991. The Dutchmen had won seven straight in the series from November of 2009 through January of 2012. St. Lawrence and Union have split winning games each year since January of 2012. Last time the two teams met, Union beat St. Lawrence 3-2. Union trailed 0-2 entering the third period, but

SCOUTING CLARKSONThe Golden Knights enter the weekend with a 5-1-0 mark, including victories at the University of New Hampshire and a sweep of Western Michigan on Oct. 17 and Oct. 23/24, respectively. Jordan Boucher leads the team with eight points, three goals and five assists. A.J. Fossen, Sam Vigneault and James de Haas all have tallied seven points each. Fossen has five goals and two assists, while Vigneault has two goals and five assists and de Haas has one goal and six assists. Steve Perry has a 2.50 GAA and a save percentage of .890. He made 25 saves in the 6-2 victory over Western Michigan on Oct. 24 and stopped 25 in the win vs. UNH.
St. Lawrence was 12-20-5 last season but fell short in the ECAC Hockey first round, falling in the best-two-of-three series at RPI.

ON THE ROAD...FINALLYAfter opening the season with seven straight home games and one game at RPI (about 15 miles up the road) the Dutchmen head to North Country to take on Clarkson and St. Lawrence. Following the weekend, the team returns to Messa Rink for home games against Brown and Yale on Nov. 13 and 14.
