ONEONTA, NY-- The Union College women's swimming and diving team defeated Hartwick 170-127, but fell to Springfield 184-116 on Saturday afternoon.
Sarah Dimmitt continued her winning ways as she swept the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions. She scored a 261.00 in the 1-meter event and scored 265.90 in the 3-meter.
The Dutchwomen placed in the top-three fourteen times in the tri-meet.
Christina Belforti placed first in the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard backstroke with times of 1:00.43 and 2:09.44, respectively.
Heather Wright pulled a first-place victory in the 200-yard freestyle going 1:58.42 in the lane.
The quartet of Belforti, Wright, Lindsay Heminger and
Christy Brown placed second in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:45.04. In the 200-yard medley relay

Alexis Wojtowicz and Heminger finished in 1:52.54 for a third-place finish.
Belforti also swam the 100-yard butterfly in 1:00.24 for second-place. Wright finished second in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle with times of 25.57 and 55.15, respectively.
Jennifer Fromm finished the 200-yard butterfly for a time of 2:17.42 and a second-place finish.
Kenny finished the 200-yard individual medley in third-place (2:19.02) and finished the 500-yard freestyle in 5:38.98 in third. Brown finished third in the 50-yard freestyle (25.73) and in the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.96).
Emilee Nason wrapped up the top-three finishers with a third-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:20.66. Â
The Dutchwomen head to Troy, N.Y., to take on crosstown rival RPI on January 15 at 6 p.m.Â
