SCHENECTADY, N.Y.--The No. 12/13 Union College men's hockey team finishes out its six-game road swing this weekend with a pair at No. 10/11 Vermont on Dec. 17-18. The Dutchmen close 2016 at home against defending national champion No. 8/9 North Dakota at 4 p.m., Dec. 31.
UNION VS. VERMONT ALL-TIME SERIES
Vermont leads the all-time series against Union, 17-10-2, but the Dutchmen have won the last two meetings. Union's last win at Vermont came on Jan. 25, 2003 (4-2). Vermont head coach Kevin Sneddon, who served as Union's head coach from 1998-2003, is 4-3-0 against his old club.

Spencer Foo scored 2:54 into overtime to lead Union to its second straight overtime victory for the first time in the program's Division I era.
Ryan Walker scored his first career goal and

SCOUTING VERMONT
Vermont had its three-game win streak snapped with a 4-0 loss against then fifth-ranked Boston University on Saturday. The Catamounts posted a 4-2 win against the Terriers in the first game of the series. Freshman netminder Stefano Lekkas is fourth in the nation in goals against average and eighth in save percentage. Vermont, which won the 2016 Friendship Four, is 6-1-1 in its last eight games, including wins against ECAC Hockey opponents Dartmouth and Quinnipiac. The Catamounts are 4-2-1 at home this season.
AGAINST THE BEST
The Dutchmen's next four games are against teams currently ranked in the top 15: No. 10/11 Vermont, No. 8/9 North Dakota and No. 6/6 Boston University. Union has fared well against ranked opponents this season, going 3-1-0 and registering come-from-behind wins at then No. 11/12 Michigan and against then 16th-ranked Yale. Coach Bennett's record against nationally-ranked teams stands at 43-22-11(.638).
