AMHERST, MA - Senior John Enquist and junior Sam Hoyt both took home multiple individual wins in the Amherst College Meet Saturday afternoon in Amherst, MA.

Enquist placed first in the 200 yd IM by a half second finishing with a time of 1:57.61 to hand the Dutchmen their first individual win of the day. Later in the 200 yd breaststroke, Enquist was also first to the wall with a time of 2:07.90 which was two seconds clear of the next closest competitor in Amherst's Sean Mebust.

Hoyt swept both of the men's diving competitions as finishing with a score of 330.53 in the 3m competition while posting a final tally of 334.95 in the 1m competition. Liberty League Diver of the Year Matthew Mintz placed second in both of the diving competitions. Mintz had a score of 299.33 in the 1m and 315.23 in the 3m.

Between the two divers, they helped Union add 26 points to the total team score.

Amherst won the meet with a final score of 157-83.

Union is back in the pool on Jan. 7th in Springfield, MA when they face Springfield College and Hartwick College. The meet is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
