AMHERST, MA - Senior Christina Belforti and first year Kerry Kelly posted individual wins in the Amherst College Meet on Saturday in Amherst, MA.

Belforti touched at the wall first in the in the women's 200 yd freestyle finishing .36 seconds ahead of sophomore Livia Domenig of Amherst. The event win netted the Dutchwomen nine points toward their final team score of 72.

Kelly also kept up her winning ways as the first year finished first in the 200 yd butterfly with a time of 2:12.85 which was five seconds clear of the next competitor. She also placed second in the 500 yd freestyle and third in the 200 yd IM with a time of 2:14.33.

Amherst won the meet by a final tally of 162-72.

Union is back in the pool on Jan. 7th when they travel to Springfield, MA for a meet with Springfield College and Hartwick College. The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
