SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY—The Union College men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to No. 21 Skidmore, Sunday afternoon at the Williamson Sports Center.
The Dutchmen go to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the Liberty League, while the Thoroughbreds improve to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
Skidmore jumped out to a 3-0 leading, losing a combined six games to sweep doubles. Jack McClaren clinched the match for the Thoroughbreds, defeating
David Brown, 6-3, 6-1, at No. 5 singles.
Union competes at the ITA Northeast Regional Oct. 1-3 in Geneva, N.Y.
