Â
Despite losing the lead, Union kept up the pressure in the third and eventually found the back of the net twice in the final minutes of the game.
Â
While on the power play and with an empty net,
Cole Maier scored a redirection goal to extend his career-best point streak to 10 games, with his sixth goal of the season. Omaha scored its fifth goal on an empty-net chance a minute later, before Walker scored his second of the game after with 52 seconds remaining in regulation.

Both teams scored two power-play goals, as Union went 2-for-5 on the man advantage, with Omaha going 2-for-6.
Â
