SCHENECTADY, NY - The Union College men's swimming and diving team fell to the Amherst College Mammoths yesterday, 214 - 65.

Sam Hoyt had another impressive showing for the Dutch, as he tallied 18 points and won both the 1 and 3 meter diving events.

Senior Brendan McClure had a solid 100 fly, with a time of 54.66.

The team's 800 and 200 yard relay teams both finished last, and the Mammoths took home first place. 

With yesterday's loss, the Dutchmen drop their third straight meet, but return to competition January 13 to take on Springfield and Hartwick at Union.
