SCHENECTADY, N.Y.--The sixth-ranked Union College men's hockey team closes out its regular season series with Harvard and Dartmouth this weekend, traveling to Boston to take on the Crimson on Friday before facing the Big Green on Saturday.

Union Goals: Nick Desimone, Mike Vecchione, Spencer Foo (ENG)

Noteworthy: Vecchione recorded his 97th career assist, placing him first in Union's DI era (Mat Bodie '14) ... He netted his fifth game-winning goal of the season (tied for the most in DI) and produced his 16th multi-point game, which also leads the nation ... Foo registered his 15th multi-point game, which ranks second ... Jake Kupsky stopped 23 shots over the final two periods ... DeSimone's goal was his third in as many games ... Union had a season-low two penalty minutes.

UNION VS. HARVARD ALL-TIME SERIES
Harvard leads the all-time series 31-15-6, but Union is 10-3-1 in the last 14 contests. 

LAST MEETING: Jan. 14, 2017 – Union 2, Harvard 1– Sebastian Vidmar scored a power-play goal in the first period and Spencer Foo added a goal in the third period to lead Union to a 2-1 win against then No. 2/3 Harvard. The Crimson snapped Alex Sakellaropoulos' shutout bid with a power-play goal at 19:50 of the third period. Sakellaropoulos finished with 31 saves.

UNION VS. DARTMOUTH ALL-TIME SERIES
Union is 25-23-7 against Dartmouth in its Division I era, winning 11 of the last 13 meetings. The Dutchmen went 3-0 at Thompson Arena last season, notching two wins at the 27th Annual Ledyard Classic and defeating the Big Green 4-1 in ECAC Hockey play. 

LAST MEETING: Jan. 13, 2017 – Union 4, Dartmouth 1 – Brett Supinski produced his second career two-goal, as the Dutchmen rolled to a 4-1 win. Spencer Foo had a three-point night (1G-2A) and Jeff Taylor contributed a goal and an assist.
 
SCOUTING HARVARD
Harvard enters the weekend winner of four straight after topping Northeastern 4-3 on Monday to advance to the Beanpot Championship. The Crimson is undefeated in its last six  games (5-0-1) and is 8-0-2 at the Bright-Landry Center.

QUICK HITS
- Mike Vecchione was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week for the third time this season after his record-setting weekend.
- Vecchione picked up his 158th career point with a shorthanded goal against Cornell, passing Daniel Carr '14 to become the all-time leading scorer in Union's DI era.
- His goal against Colgate also places him second in career goals in Union's DI era (64). 
- Friday's loss against Cornell was Union's first this season when Vecchione scored a goal (12-0-1 prior).
- It also marked the first back-to-back regular season ECAC Hockey losses for Union since Nov. 13-14, 2015 (Brown 3-2 ot; Yale 2-1 ot).
- Kupsky allowed two or fewer goals in a game in which he started for just the fourth time in his career in Saturday's win against Colgate. 
- The Dutchmen improved to 11-1-0 when scoring first in Saturday's win.
