SCHENECTADY, N.Y.--The Union College men's tennis team rebounded from a 9-0 loss against Hobart with a 9-0 win against SUNY Delhi, Saturday afternoon at the Union tennis courts. 

In its first match of the day, the Dutchmen (5-11, 1-4 Liberty League) dropped a Liberty League match against Hobart (11-4, 3-1 Liberty League). Union responded in its second match of teh day, rolling to a 9-0 win against the Broncos (3-8).

First-year Thomas Andre, sophomore Sam Varsano and junior Matt Gracer were all double winners against Delhi. Union opened a 3-0 lead into singles competition after sweeping doubles play. Justin Gold and Del Schunk defeated the Broncos top pair of Lac Van and Tony Angioli, 8-1, Andre and David Bond were 8-1 winners at No. 2 and Gracer and Varsano paired for an 8-3 win at No. 3.

The Dutchmen dropped just 10 total games in singles, notching straight-set wins in all six matches. Brown clinched the match with his second win of the match at No. 2, defeating Shaquille Hamilton 6-0, 6-0. Varsano was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 4 and Andre added a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 5. 

Union makes the short trip to take on cross town rival RPI Wednesday, April 26 at  4 p.m.
