SCHENECTADY, N.Y.--The Union College men's tennis was defeated 8-1 by St. Lawrence in its final match of the season, Friday evening at the Union tennis courts. The Dutchmen end the season with a record of 5-13 overall and 1-6 in the Liberty League, while the Saints end the season at 5-11 and 3-4 in league play.

Del Schunk nearly claimed a point for the Dutchmen, but the Saints No. 3 pair of Alec Roslin and Spencer Whitmire held on for a 9-8 (7-5) win at No. 3.
Schunk picked up Union's lone point of the match at No. 2, cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 win against Kevin Frommer. Sophomore
Max McGeown rallied to force a third set at No. 6, but Whitmire earned the point with a 7-5 win in the tiebreak, securing the 8-1 win for the Saints.
Prior to the match, the Dutchmen honored Brown for contributions to the program.
