MIDDLEBURY, VT - The Union College women's swimming and diving team fell to Middlebury College this evening, 74-205.
Despite the loss,
Kerry Kelly went two-for-three in individual races. She took home first place in the 200 yard backstroke and 400 IM with times of 2:13.57 and 4:38.34, respectively. In the 100 fly, Kelly finished in second place (1:01.32), just three seconds after the first place finisher.
Emily Quinn and
Emilee Nason each placed third in their respective races. Quinn completed the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:11.48 and Nason finished her 200 fly race in 2:18.94.
Quinn also took home first place for her performance in the 200 breaststroke, with a time of 2:31.96.
Lindsay Hemminger tallied four points for the Dutchwomen with her second place finish in the 50 yard free (25.58).
The Dutchwomen will return to the pool next Friday night at the Alumni Gym Pool, to take on Hamilton College. Â
