SCHENECTADY, NY - On a meet that came down to the wire, the Union College Dutchmen prevailed and snapped their six meet losing streak, defeating Hamilton College, 152-139.
Senior
Sam Hoyt consistently succeeds for the Dutch, as he won both boards tonight, during his last meet at Union as a Dutchmen.
Owen Perks won both the 100 and 200-yard back stroke events. In the 100, Perks finished in 55.53, along with a 1:59.83 finish during the 200.
Joseph Lifrak also had a strong performance in the 50-yard free (23.30).

Scott Felix,
Jack Wassik came up huge with a clutch performance during the 1000 free. The 1000 free consists of a 40 lap race, during which Wassik won by just a tenth of a second.
The men had to win their last relay to help secure tonight's win. With the pressure on, the 200 yard freestyle relay team (
Brendan McClure, Lifrak, Wassik and
Andrew Wojtowicz) swam their fastest time of the year and won first place with a time of 1:30.36
Union honored its three graduating seniors with tonight's meet, Hoyt, McClure and
Matthew Mintz.
