THIS WEEKEND
Union will begin the 2018 calendar year, opening up ECAC play once again. The Dutchwomen are set to take on the Dartmouth Big Green on Friday night at 6 p.m., followed by a 3 p.m. puck drop on Saturday against Harvard University.
LAST TIME OUT
Union vs. RIT – Dec. 15
Before the holiday break, the Dutchwomen took on the RIT Tigers for a pair of home games. In game one, Union trailed the Tigers 3-1 with barely two minutes left to go. After a timeout, the Dutchwomen pulled its goalie and scored back-to-back goals with the six to five skater advantage. With the last minute surge, Union forced RIT into overtime but the scoring would remain at three goals apiece.
Union vs. RIT – Dec. 16
RIT struck first in game two of the weekend, taking a 1-0 lead early in the first period. However, just two minutes later, the Dutchwomen answered. First-year
Makayla Mori would score her first career goal to tie up the game. With four minutes to go in the second period,
Cheyenne Harris scored the ultimate game winner.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
Union is 2-26 all-time, when facing off against Dartmouth, dating back to a 0-7 loss in 2004. The Dutchwomen took on the Big Green twice in ECAC play last season, dropping the first game 1-2 before later defeating the team 2-1. Returners

ALL-TIME VS. THE CRIMSON
In Union's first game against Harvard last season, the Dutchwomen defeated the Crimson, 3-2 in overtime. That win gave Union its first ever win over Harvard in program history.

Rachel de Perio and
Katie Laughlin all scored in the historic victory. The Dutchwomen would later drop the second game of the season in a 0-2 defeat. Union is currently 1-27 all-time against the Crimson, dating back to 2003.
SHUGART'S SHOT
Sophomore
Haley Shugart earned herself ECAC Player of the Week honors for the week of Dec. 4. Scoring three goals, she led the ECAC in scoring during the respective weekend. Shugart now leads the team in goals with seven, and has two assists. Despite missing the first six games of the season due to injury, Shugart has contributed immensely to the Dutch's success. All five of Union's wins have come since her return to the ice.
APPLE WATCH
Cheyenne Harris ranks ninth in the ECAC for assists, with 11 on the year. With 16 career assists, she has the highest number of assists registered by a Dutchwoman before the end of her sophomore campaign. Maddy Norton, '14, holds the single season record for assists with 18, which she did in the 2013-14 season. Harris also currently leads the Dutchwomen in points this season, with 13.
TIS' THE SEASON
With the Dutchwomen's last game and win of 2017, Union now finds itself at five wins on the season, with the second half of the season slated to begin this weekend. The Dutchwomen have now matched their win total since last season and have the most wins since the 2013-14 season (9).
