THIS WEEKEND
Union remains home this weekend for a double-header at Messa Rink between Princeton and Quinnipiac, Friday and Saturday. Saturday's game will be the Dutchwomen's annual Do It For Daron game to promote mental health awareness.

LAST TIME OUT
Union vs. RPI – Jan. 26

The Dutchwomen defeated RPI for the first time since October 2012, last Friday night. Sophomores Katelynn Russ and Cheyenne Harris each netted the puck in the
2-1 victory. The Engineers proved to be dominant with their penalty kill unit, and earned two breakaway chances during the matchup, both of which were shut down by goalie Coco Francis. Francis had 25 saves and earned her sixth win of the year.

Union vs. RPI – Mayor's Cup – Jan. 27
The tides would change on Saturday's matchup between the Dutch and the Engineers. RPI would go up on a two-goal tear in the second period, pulling away from Union with a comfortable lead. Union's route 7 rivals held onto the advantage for most of the game, until just about the five-minute mark. With the clock ticking down, senior Caitlyn
McLaren found a clear lane from the point and took a hard shot. Fellow classmate Katie Laughlin was able to help knock in the puck and cut Union's deficit in half. After a timeout, the Dutchwomen pulled netminder Coco Francis to use the extra attacker, but were unable to tie up the game. RPI would ultimately win the inaugural Mayor's Cup game, 2-1.

WHERE DO U STAND
Union currently sits at the 10 seed in the ECAC standings, just one point behind RPI. Harvard and Princeton are currently tied in 7th place, with 15 points in league play. The Dutchwomen are slated to take on Princeton this weekend and has another shot at Harvard the following weekend.

HUNTING THE TIGERS
The Dutchwomen will look for redemption this weekend against the Tigers. Last time out, Princeton shutout the Dutch, 3-0. The Tigers are coming off a hot weekend where they swept ECAC opponents, Yale and Brown. They also shut the teams out, 3-0 and 4-0, respectively. Union has not defeated the Tigers since January 2014 – the only time Union has ever beaten Princeton.

REVENGE OF THE DUTCH
The last time Union met with Quinnipiac, the Dutchwomen dropped the contest during an overtime heartbreaker. Union led the Bobcats 3-2 with two seconds remaining in regulation. Just as time expired, QU netted the puck and forced the Dutch into overtime. The Bobcats would go on to score in the first minute of overtime play and defeat Union in their home barn. Saturday afternoon serves as a plate of revenge for the Dutchwomen, who have never defeated Quinnipiac.

LAST ONE BEST ONE
Union's senior class trio is arguably having the best individual seasons of their respective careers. Defenseman Brandy Streeter scored her first two career goals this season and is in second for most blocks on the team with 40 blocked shots. Caitlyn McLaren, a key to Union's power play unit, has four goals and 12 assists on the year, tallying the most points earned in an individual season in her career. She also leads the team in power play assists (6) and power play points (8). Forward Katie Laughlin has five goals and three assists this season alone, and is tied for most power play goals (3). For her first three years, Laughlin had just two goals and five assists.

A CLASS OF HER OWN
The Dutchwomen's lone junior, Arianna Kosakowski has proved to be a huge factor to Union's growing success. Five of Union's seven wins this season have come during a game in which Kosakowski scores a point. The Dutch are 1-13 when Kosakowski has not scored a point. The Massachusetts native is having a career-best season in every category. She combined for two goals and four assists in her first two seasons and is currently tied for second-most points on the team with 16. Kosakowski is at five goals and 11 assists on the season, along with 49 blocked shots.

FOLLOW THE LEADER
Cheyenne Harris leads the team in assists with 13 on the year. With 18 career assists, she has the highest number of assists registered by a Dutchwoman before the end of her sophomore campaign. Maddy Norton, '14, holds the single season record for assists with 18, which she did in the 2013-14 season. With her game-winning goal over RPI last Friday, Harris has now broken the record for most game-winners in a single season, with four this year. Maddy Norton previously held the record with three during the 2013-14 season.

THE FUSS WITH RUSS
Sophomore Katelynn Russ is on hot streak, scoring six points in Union's last five games. In Union's tie against No. 6 Cornell, the Illinois native scored two goals, the second of which tied the game and sent the team into overtime. Russ now has 10 goals during ECAC play, alone, breaking the record for most goals ever scored in a single season, in ECAC play, by a Dutchwoman. She also leads the team in goals (12) and points (18).

TIS' THE SEASON
With the win over Harvard on Jan. 6, the Dutchwomen have snatched their sixth win of the season – surpassing last season's win total (5). Union's tie against No. 6 Cornell on Saturday marked nine points in ECAC play - the most points earned in a single season in program history. The Dutchwomen currently have 11 conference points, with five wins and a tie.
