UNION VS QUINNIPIAC - ALL-TIME SERIES
- The Dutchwomen look for their first victory over Quinnipiac, Friday. They currently trail the all-time series 0-29-4. Last season, the Bobcats came away with a 4-3 overtime victory in the team's first meeting (Nov. 10, 2017), and won 4-2 in the second matchup (Feb 3, 2018).
UNION VS PRINCETON - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Union trail the all-time series with Princeton, 1-28-1. Last season, the Tigers won 3-0 in the first matchup (Nov. 11, 2017) and 4-0 in the second (Feb. 2, 2018).
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
- Quinnipiac is led in scoring by sophomore Taylor House, who has five goals and three assists through 17 games for the Bobcats this season. Senior MacKenzie Lancaster is tied with House with eight points this season, posting two goals and a team-high six assists so far.
- In net, junior Abbie Ives is 4-7-3 in 15 starts this campaign, with a 1.96 goals against average and a .922 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
- Princeton is led in scoring by junior Carly Bullock, who has 10 goals and eight assists in 12 games this season. Behind her is first-year Sarah Fillier, who has three goals and a team-high 12 assists to her name so far. Junior Claire Thompson is the Tigers' highest scoring defender with 12 points in as many games this season (5g, 7a).
- In net, sophomore Rachel McQuigge is 5-2-3 in 10 starts this season, with a .932 save percentage and a 1.86 goals against average.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Dutchwomen hit the road last weekend and met with ECAC Hockey rivals Dartmouth on Friday and Harvard on Saturday.
- Union got off to a fast start as junior forward
Rachel de Perio gave the Dutchwoman a 1-0 edge 37 seconds into the game. This is the earliest goal Union has scored through 15 games this season. The Big Green responded with a goal at 15:23 in the first period to tie the score heading into the second frame. Five minutes into the second period, Dartmouth took the lead with a short-handed goal, and added another goal three minutes later to gain a 3-1 advantage with 12 minutes to go in the period. Arianna Kosakowski netted her third goal of the season to bring Union within a goal at 10:43 in the second period, as Dartmouth held a 3-2 lead heading into the final 20 minutes of play. With 5:51 on the clock in the third period, the Big Green took a 4-2 lead they would not relinquish (Nov 30).
- After a scoreless opening period, the Crimson opened their account 1:10 into the second to take a 1-0 lead into the final 20 minutes of play. Harvard put the game away with a trio of goals within a minute late in the final period to secure the victory.
