SCHENECTADY, NY – The Union College men's tennis team dropped a Liberty League dual, 7-2, to RPI on Thursday evening at the Union Tennis Courts.

Zach Kaplan and
Justin Gold were the lone winners for the Dutchmen, winning their No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches in two sets each. Kaplan defeated RPI's Alex Lee, 6-2, 6-2, while Gold defeated RPI's Gabe Osio, 6-4, 6-4.

The Engineers won all the No. 1-4 singles matches in two sets each.
Austin Egna was close to taking the second set of his No. 2 singles match, forcing a tie breaker, but ultimately falling 6-2, 7-6 (9-7).

Union will be back on the courts tomorrow, April 27, to host RIT for its final Liberty League dual of the season, beginning at 3 p.m. (ET).
