UNION VS ST. LAWRENCE - ALL-TIME SERIES
- The Dutchwomen are winless against the St. Lawrence in their 31 previous meetings (0-29-2). Earlier this season, the Saints topped Union 3-0 in Rochester (Nov. 3). 

UNION VS CLARKSON - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Union are 1-30 all-time against Clarkson. On Nov. 2, 2018, Clarkson defeated the Dutchwomen 5-1 in Potsdam.  
  
SCOUTING THE SAINTS

- The Saints are led in points by senior forward Justine Reyes, who has four goals and 10 assists through 20 games. The leading goal scorer for St. Lawrence is senior forward Rachael Smith with eight, she also has five assists for 13 points this season. Three other Saints have double-digit points this season; junior forward Kalie Grant (3g, 9a, 12 pts), sophomore defenseman Skylar Podvey (5g, 6a, 11 pts) and junior forward Maggie McLaughlin (4g, 6a, 10 pts.). 
- In net, senior goaltenders Grace Harrison (2.34 GAA, 5-4-1 record, .920 save percentage) has 11 starts while Sonjia Shelly (2.04 GAA, 4-6-0 record, .920 save percentage). 

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS
- The Golden Knights are led in points by sophomore forward Elizabeth Giguere, who has 14 goals and 23 assists for 37 points in 20 games. The goal-scoring leader is senior forward Loren Gabel, who scored 16 goals and provided 18 assists for 34 points in 18 games. Junior forward Michaela Pejzlova (12g, 17a, 29 pts.) and senior forward T.T. Cianfarano (10g, 10a, 20 pts) both have double digit goals and assists this season.  
- In net, senior goaltender Kassidy Sauve has a record of 12-4-1, with a 1.94 goals against average and a .926 save percentage.   

LAST TIME OUT
-Last weekend, the Dutchwomen opened 2019 with a road trip to Bemidji, Minn. for a weekend series against the Bemidji State Beavers. 
-After a scoreless opening period, the Beavers gained a 1-0 edge midway through the second and held that lead heading into the final 20 minutes of play. With Union on the power play, Bemidji State doubled their advantage with a short-handed goal at 8:53 in the final period. The hosts' lead grew to three after a tally with 1:30 remaining in the game. Junior goaltender Amelia Murray recorded 25 saves in net for the Dutchwomen (Jan. 4).
-Union sophomore forward Makayla Mori scored her first goal of the season to give Union a 1-0 lead 7:01 into the opening period off an assist from junior forward Katelynn Russ. The Beavers responded with four unanswered goals to wrap the first period. With Bemidji State on the power play, the Dutchwomen got a goal back at 15:54 in the second period when junior forward Rachel de Perio scored short-handed off a feed from senior defenseman Arianna Kosakowski. The Beavers led 4-2 heading into the final 20 minutes of play. The hosts added a pair goals late in the third period to secure the victory. (Jan 5).

SENIOR LEADERSHIP
- The Dutchwomen are led in scoring by senior defenseman Arianna Kosakowski, who is tied for the team lead in goals (four) and assists (four) for eight points in 17 games this season. In 119 career games, Kosakowski has 30 points to her name, accounting for 11 goals and 19 assists in a Union sweater. 

NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN
Through her first 18 games in her collegiate career, first-year Grace Heiting is tied for third on the team with five points.

LOOK WHO'S BACK: FORWARDS
-The Dutchwomen return 11 forwards from the 2017-18 season. Junior Katelynn Russ is the top retuning offensive producer, having totaled 15 goals and six assists last year. Fellow junior Cheyenne Harris was second on the team in scoring, with six goals and 15 assists. 

-Also returning up top for Union includes: Haley Shugart (10g, 3a); Rachel de Perio (2g, 10a); Helen Markovic (3g, 7a); Jordi Naidrich (1g, 3a); Makayla Mori (2g, 1a); Ava Reynolds (0g, 2a); Alli First (0g, 0a); and Angelica Melone (0g, 0a).  

LOOK WHO'S BACK: DEFENSEMEN
-The Dutchmen return four defensemen from the 2018-19 season. Senior Arianna Kosakowski was fourth on the team in scoring, contributing five goals and her 14 assists ranked second on the team last season. Sophomore Megan Ryan ranked was the third highest defensive scorer last season, finishing with three goals and seven assists. Also returning on defense for Union is Hannah Schultz (4g, 4a).

LOOK WHO'S BACK: GOALTENDERS
-The Dutchmen return all three goaltenders from the 2017-18 season. Sophomore Coco Francis led the pack, posting a record of 6-13-3 with a .918 save percentage and a 2.92 goal against average. Junior Kate Spooner finished last season with a record of 1-6-1, a save percentage of .881 and a 4.46 goal against average. Fellow junior Amelia Murray posted a 0-3-1 record last year, with a .903 save percentage and a 3.92 goal against average.
