- Following a Union power play, the puck fell to an RPI forwards who converted a breakaway opportunity to take a 2-0 lead at 16:22 of the second period.
- The Dutchwomen got on the scoreboard 6:34 into the final period when first-year forward Katie Sonntag scored for the third time in as many games on the power play to bring Union within a goal.
- In the end, the Engineers quelled the comeback attempt by the Dutchwomen and came away with a 2-1 victory.
- Junior goaltender Amelia Murray made 23 saves in net for the Dutchwomen to keep them in the game.

LAST MEETING (CORNELL)
- The first period was a tale of five penalties between the ECAC foes. Things looked bright early in the first period, as Union earned a power play at the 13-minute mark. However, not long into the advantage, a defensive turnover led to a Cornell breakaway goal.
- The Dutchwomen found themselves on another power play five minutes later, this time with a 5-on-3 advantage. Cornell killed one of those penalties, but then managed to score shorthanded, again, after a mishandled puck in front of Union's own. The Big Red struck again with five minutes to go and headed into the first period intermission with a gaping 3-0 advantage.
-Despite the crazy first period, after 20 minutes of play, shots on goal were only 6-4 in favor of Cornell.
- During the following two periods, the Big Red would tack on two more goals and runaway with a 5-0 shutout victory. Cornell out shot Union 25-18 after three periods of play.
- The Dutchwomen will return to action tomorrow afternoon to conclude the 2017-18 season against Colgate. Following tomorrow's game, Union will honor Katie Laughlin, Caitlyn McLaren and Brandy Streeter as its three graduating seniors.

LAST MEETING (COLGATE)
- The Raiders came out strong, skating fast and forcing the Dutchwomen to make plays. For the first 12 minutes of the game, things remained scoreless and shots were fairly even, as Colgate had just two more shots on goal than Union. However, at the 8:23 mark, Colgate's Jessie Eldridge won a loose puck off the boards and was able to slip the puck in to give the Raiders an early 1-0 lead.
- After a few rebounded shots, with just under four minutes to go, Colgate was able to strike again and take a 2-0 advantage heading into the first intermission.
- About halfway through the second period, Colgate dumped the puck down the ice, and as Eldridge picked it up, she managed to flick a wrister past Union's Kate Spooner.
- Union's closest scoring chance came on a power play opportunity just under the eight-minute mark in the second period. Despite making a few quality shots, Colgate's pressure was too much for the Dutch and ultimately the penalty was killed.
- Just before the second intermission, Colgate won a battle off the boards and earned a one-on-one chance to go up 4-0.
- With 16 minutes to go in regulation, senior Brandy Streeter took a one timer from the point, the hard shot got tipped in by Haley Shugart and helped cut down Union's deficit to three goals.
- However, Colgate answered right back, pushing the game back to a four-goal margin at 5-1.
- After an empty netter, Colgate finished with a 6-1 victory over the Dutchwomen.

SENIOR LEADERSHIP
- The Dutchwomen are led in scoring by senior defenseman Arianna Kosakowski, who is tied for the team lead in goals (four) and leads the team in assists (seven) for 11 points in 24 games this season. In 127 career games, Kosakowski has 33 points to her name, accounting for 11 goals and 22 assists in a Union sweater.
