Women's Hockey Wraps Up Season At Home

UNION VS. COLGATE - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Union is winless against Colgate in their 34 meetings (0-32-3). The Dutchwomen lost both meeting 6-1 last season. Earlier this month, The Raiders defeated Union 5-2. 

UNION VS. CORNELL - ALL-TIME SERIES
- The Dutchwomen trail the all-time series with the Big Red 1-28-2. Last season, Union tied Cornell 3-3 in Ithaca and fell 5-0 to the Big Red at Messa Rink in February. Earlier this month, the Big Red came away with a 7-0 home victory against the Dutchwomen.   

SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
- Senior forward Jessie Eldridge leads the Raiders in scoring with 25 goals and 20 assists for 45 points this season. Senior forward Shae Labbe leads the team with 25 assists, and ranks third in goals (15) and second in points (40) through 32 games. Sophomore forward Malia Schneider (18g, 21a, 39pts), and senior defenseman Olivia Zafuto (6g, 20a, 26pts) both have over 20 points this season as well.
- In net, senior Julia Vandyk is 16-8-5 in 29 starts, with a 2.44 goals against average and a .914 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE BIG RED
- Cornell is led in scoring by sophomore forward Maddie Mills, who has 16 goals and 19 assists for 35 points in 27 games this season. Junior forward Kristen O'Neil leads has a team-high 19 goals, while adding 10 assists for 29 points. Junior defenseman Jamie Bourbonnais has 17 assists and eight goals for 25 points in 23 games. Lenka Serdar (10g, 11a, 21pts), Grace Graham (8g, 11a, 19 pts), Micah Zandee-Hart (2g, 15a, 17pts), and Paige Lewis (7g, 6a, 13 pts) all have double-digit points on the season. 
- In net, junior Marlene Boissonnault is 15-3-4 in 22 starts this season, with a .922 save percentage and a 1.72 goals against average. 

LAST WEEKEND
- Last weekend, the Dutchwomenbattled Princeton and Quinnipiac on the road. 
- The Tigers netted the lone goal of the opening period on a 5-on-3 chance and held a 1-0 edge heading into the second.
- Princeton added a tally midway through the second frame to take a 2-0 lead into the final 20 minutes.
- After the Tigers took a 3-0 lead with eight minutes remaining, first-year forward Grace Heiting scored her third goal in two games off assists from classmate Katie Sonntag and junior defenseman Cheyenne Harris.
- The hosts secured the victory with a goal in the final minute of play.
- In net, junior goaltender Amelia Murray accounted for a career-high 49 saves for Union..  

LAST WEEKEND (CONT'D)
- The Bobcats took the lead less than a minute into the game, and added another goal with eight minutes left in the opening period to take a 2-0 lead into the second frame.
- The lone goal of the second period was scored by Quinnipiac with 13 minutes remaining. - The hosts netted a pair of goals in the third to secure a 5-0 win over Union.
- After recording a career-high 49 saves yesterday, Dutchwoman junior goaltender Amelia Murray notched 48 saves between the pipes in the loss.  

LAST MEETING (COLGATE)
- Sophomore forward Helen Markovic gave Union an early 1-0 edge after putting the puck into an open net for her first goal of the season.
- Union gained a two goal cushion at 14:20 of the opening period when Markovic scored her second goal of the game after junior forward Rachel de Perio's shot came off the pipe. Junior defenseman Cheyenne Harris was credited with her third assist of the season on the play as well.
- The Raiders scored with 1:03 left in the opening period to cut the Dutchwoman lead to 2-1 heading into the second.
Three unanswered goals in the second period game Colgate a 4-2 lead that proved decisive. - The Raiders added a goal in the third to secure a 5-2 win.
- Junior goaltender Kate Spooner made 42 saves in the Union net.

LAST MEETING (CORNELL)
- The Big Red scored a pair of goals in the opening four minutes of the game, then added a third late in the period to take a 3-0 lead into the second period.
- To open the second period, Cornell converted a power play opportunity to take a four-goal lead. The hosts added another tally 8:14 into the period and led 5-0 heading into the final frame.
- Cornell scored two late goals in the third period to secure a 7-0 victory.
- Junior goaltender Amelia Murray and sophomore goaltender Coco Francis combined for 29 saves in the Dutchwoman net.

SENIOR LEADERSHIP
- The Dutchwomen are led in scoring by senior defenseman Arianna Kosakowski, who is ts second on the team in goals (four) and leads the team in assists (eight) for 12 points in 21 games this season. In 133 career games, Kosakowski has 34 points to her name, accounting for 11 goals and 23 assists in a Union sweater. 

MAKING AN IMPACT
- Through her first 32 games in her collegiate career, first-year Grace Heiting is tied for third on the team with nine points (5g, 5a). Classmate Katie Sonntag has eight points on the season as well (3g, 5a).
