Men's Swimming & Diving Dominique Del Prete, Assistant Athletic Communications Director

Dutchmen Place Sixth In Liberty League Championships

ITHACA, N.Y. – After four days of competition, the Union College men's swimming and diving team earned a sixth-place finish with 629 points in the Liberty League Championships hosted by Ithaca College.

Rochester Institute of Technology captured the Liberty League title.  

Junior Jack Tucker, senior Zach Cormier, first-year Jackson Bennett, and sophomore Matthew Kenvin placed fifth in the 400-yard free relay finals with a time of 3:09.95. The team placed fourth in the preliminary race, clocking in at 3:12.54, just over 18 seconds faster than their seed time.

Sophomore Matthew Kevin finished tenth in the 200-yard breaststroke preliminary race, but set a new personal best in the final at 2:10.29. Classmate Zack Panlilio added a tenth place finish in the 1650-yard free.
