POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Union College women's swimming and diving team fell to Vassar College, 195-84, Saturday afternoon at Kresge Pool.
Sophomore 
Kristina Valenti recorded a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke and first-year 
Molly Miller finished second with times of 1:12.78 and 1:14.08, respectively. Valenti set a new personal record in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:20.63 and also placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:36.24.
Four additional members of the team all earned personal bests in the meet: 
Emily Langlois swam to a personal best in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.97. 
Julianna Lisi recorded a pair of personal bests in the 100-yard freestyle (1:02.25) and the 200-yard IM (2:48.59). Sophomore 
Gabi Acosta earned a personal best in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:10.15. In the 100-yard freestyle, 
Meghan Seidberg clocked in at 59.69.
Langlois also added a season-best time in the 100-yard butterfly (1:09.13) and Seidberg registered a season-best time in the 200-yard IM (2:27.19).
Sophomore 
Maya Gerber raced to two season-bests on the afternoon in the 200-yard butterfly (2:36.48) and in the 500-yard freestyle (5:49.93).
In the 200-yard backstroke, first-year 
Sasha Malik finished fourth with a season-best time of 2:19.98.
On the boards, sophomore 
Aurelie Truquet finished second in both diving events. On the 1-meter board, Truquet recorded 131.77 and on the 3-meter board, 137.62.
Union is back in action tomorrow at home with a meet against Capital District rival Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The first event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m .at Alumni Gym Pool.
