PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Union College men's crew team closed out the fall portion of the schedule and brought home some hardware from the 52nd Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday.

The regatta took place on the Schuylkill River and saw competition at the Division I, Division II, and Division III level. The Union Championship 4+ team and the Championship 8+ A team both medaled.

The Men's Championship 4+ team raced to a 2nd place finish among Division III teams and 26th place overall with a time of 15:13.600. Union's team was made up of junior Charlie Whiteford (coxswain), sophomore Sam Flynn (stroke), sophomore Nick Meyer (3 seat), junior Josh Vaidman (2 seat), and sophomore Josh Atkinson (bow).

The Men's Club Championship 8+ A team finished 2nd in Division III and 25th overall with a time of 12:44.937. Union's team was comprised of senior Tony Griffin (coxswain), first-year Angus Hall (stroke), first-year Kenny Kromer (7 seat), sophomore Erik Roberts (6 seat), junior Alex Chan (5 seat), senior Harrison White (4 seat), senior Braman Cronin (3 seat), senior Ethan Conrad (2 seat), and senior Cole Abdinoor (bow).

The Men's Club Championship 8+ B team raced to a 6th place finish among Division III teams and a 36th place finish overall. Union's team was made up of junior Sarah DeRosa (coxswain), junior Miles Fee (stroke), sophomore Benjamin Stern (7 seat), first-year Danny Bender (6 seat), junior Grant Bouvin (5 seat), first-year Stuart Livingston (4 seat), first-year Wolfgang Bodge (3 seat), junior Zach McConnell (2 seat), sophomore Cody Morrison (bow).

This marks the conclusion of the fall season for Union. The team will be back in the water in the spring.
