TROY, N.Y. – Eighty Union College student-athletes were recognized for their academic prowess by earning spots on the Liberty League Fall All-Academic Teams, the conference announced on Thursday morning.
The Liberty League's fall championship sports include men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball. To be recognized as a member of the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30.
Sixty percent (48 of 80) of Union's honorees are repeat selections to the All-Academic Team, while over 21 percent (17 of 80) were selected for the usual maximum third straight season and three - football seniors

Evan Farr - were honored for the fourth time after all athletes received an extra year of eligibility due to COVID-19. The football team led all fall sports with a program-record 29 selections, followed by the women's soccer team with 14 selections.
