CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – After helping guide the Union College men's hockey team to a 4-2 record in November, sophomore
John Prokop was named the ECAC Hockey Defender of the Month, the league announced on Wednesday.
Prokop registered 10 points (1-9-10) in six games to pace Union in November. The blueliner registered three multi-point games and had at least one point in ever game in the month.
The sophomore currently leads the team with 17 points (3-14-17) in 13 games with a +2 rating and 14 blocked shots.
Prokop has been honored the last two weeks as the ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week.
Union is back in action tonight with a non-conference game against #8 Maine. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Messa Rink.
