TROY, N.Y. – The Union College men's swimming and diving team fell 135-87 to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Sunday afternoon at Robison Pool.
Senior
Matt Kenvin won the 100-yard freestyle with a season best time of 47.65 and went on to win the 100-yard breaststroke in 57.68.
Senior
Bill Megas won the 400 IM with a time of 4:18.85, over four seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
Junior
Colin Farrell was stellar on the boards. Farrell set a new personal best in the three-meter diving with 268.65 points for six dives. Farrell also scored 244.50 points in the one-meter diving.

Zack Panlilio started the meet off strong with a second-place finish with a time of 1:42.21.
Panlilio added a season-best time of 1:49.57 in the 200-yard freestyle and finished third in a tightly contested race that saw first through third separated by only .19 seconds. Panlilio finished second in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:04.57.
Senior
Zach Matthews, senior
Andre Thornton, and Kraus picked up key points in the 50-yard freestyle and finished in second, third, and fourth, respectively. Matthews finished the race in 23.33 to earn second, Thornton placed third with a time of 23.39, and Kraus earned fourth place with a time of 23.52.
First-year
Winston Lee was out touched at the wall in the 100-yard butterfly to finish in second with a time of 53.39, .01 seconds off from the top finisher.
Senior
Andrew Boyd placed third in the 100-yard backstroke in 57.84 and Megas picked up a fourth-place finish in 58.33.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team also picked up a second-place finish. Union's team of Megas, Lee, Matthews, and Kenvin finished in 1:30.42.
Union is back in action on Saturday for senior day against Vassar College. The first event is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Alumni Gym Pool.
