SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Union College men's swimming and diving team dropped a tough 206-73 decision to Liberty League rival Skidmore College on Saturday afternoon at Williamson Sports Center.
First-year
Nick Megas added another individual win to his rookie season with a personal best time of 49.73 in the 100 freestyle. Megas also took second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:50.41.
Senior
Tony Piacentini swam a season best time of 10:54.72 in the 1000 free to finish second. Piacentini also placed second and set a season best time of 5:14.78 in the 500 free.
Junior
Drew Hill finished second in the 50 free with a time of 22.49 and added a third-place finish in the 100 backstroke with a season-best time of 56.69.
First-year
Brayden Green earned a second-place finish in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:25.38.
Senior
Colin Farrell placed first in the one-meter diving with a score of 221.25 and added a second place finish in the three-meter boards with a score of 208.80.
Union is off for the next month and returns to the pool on Friday, December 6 for the three day Bomber Invitational hosted by Ithaca College.
