SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Union College men's crew team opened the spring season with the Class of 2022 Cup against Vassar College and Skidmore College on Saturday morning.
Facing chilly conditions with 13mph winds, the men's Varsity 8+ team was edged out by Skidmore by one second to finish the race in 6:52.9 seconds. Union's team was comprised of senior

The 2
nd Varsity 8+ boat finished in 7:13.3 seconds, only 0.8 seconds behind the Skidmore boat. Union's boat was made up of junior
