SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College men's crew team returned to their home course on Saturday with a race against Amherst College and Clarkson University on the Mohawk River.
The teams faced a strong current and chilly conditions on the 1900km course.

Cole Abdinoor (bow) defeated Clarkson with a time of 6:35.5, 40 seconds faster than the Golden Knights.
Union's Varsity 8+ B boat raced Amherst in a head-to-head competition and defeated the Mammoths by almost 49 seconds with a time of 6:40.06. Union's boat was made up of junior

The Garnet Chargers wrap up the home portion of the spring schedule next weekend against Vassar College. The first race is scheduled for 10:00am on the Mohawk River.
