PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The Union College men's crew team competed against teams from all three divisions in the 2024 Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta on Friday and Saturday on the Cooper River.
The team enjoyed sunny weather and flat water for Saturday's semifinal and final races.
The Men's Pair of senior
Harrison White (stroke) and junior
Alex Chan (bow) earned a spot in the grand final and finished sixth with a time of 7:55.179.
In the Men's Single, senior
Ethan Conrad finished second in his heat and eighth overall with a time of 8:27.106, approximately 1:23 faster than his semifinal time.
The final Union boat, the Men's Frosh/Novice 4+ finished sixth in their final and 12
th overall in the event with a time of 7:43.355, less than three seconds behind the boat from Stockton University and only five seconds back from the boat from West Point. Union's boat was made up of junior
