SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Head women's volleyball coach Annie DeLoid has announced members of the Union College Women's Volleyball Class of 2028. The Garnet Chargers will be welcoming seven new members to the team for the 2024 season, with the group featuring four hitters, two setters and one libero/defensive specialist.
This year's class is also one of the most geographically diverse groups in recent years, representing four states (Texas, Virginia, New Hampshire and Kentucky) as well as Puerto Rico.
"We are so excited to welcome this year's recruiting class to Union," said DeLoid. "We've been focusing on a championship mindset with our returning athletes, and we know this incoming group will fit in seamlessly to the culture we are building. We are looking forward to an awesome season!"

DeLoid and the Union volleyball team will start the 2024 season on August 30 at the Pacific Coast Classic and will make their 2024 home debut on September 13 on day one of the Union/Russell Sage Crosstown Challenge.
