SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College women's swimming and diving team continued their homestand with a tri-meet on Saturday afternoon against Springfield College and Hartwick College at Alumni Gym Pool. Union fell 182-114 to Springfield and 193-99 to Hartwick.
Sophomore
Jess Konsky was first overall in the 200 free with a time of 2:01.94. Konsky went on to place third overall in the 100 back with a time of 1:05.44 and third in the 200 back at 2:19.23.
Senior
Kristina Valenti took the top spot in the 200 IM with a time of 2:19.92. The reigning Liberty League Swimmer of the Week also earned fourth in the 200 breaststroke and fifth in the 100 breaststroke.

Grace Furtado placed fourth with a time of 1:58.98.
Junior
Alison Silver earned a second-place finish in the 50 free, coming in at 26.43.
Matthews nabbed a third-place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 1:04.56 and a pair of fourth-place finishes in the 100 free and 200 fly.
Senior
Aurelie Truquet put together another strong day on the boards with a score of 202.25 in the one-meter diving and 221.85 in the three-meter boards.
Union continues the homestand next week with the final home meet and senior day. The Garnet Chargers host #19 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Alumni Gym Pool.
