POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Union College women's swimming and diving team closed out the regular season with a 156-108 loss to Vassar College on Friday night at Kresge Pool.
Sophomore
Amelia Dino won the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.13. Dino also added a third-place finish in the 500 free with a time of 5:55.06.

Molly Miller, sophomore
Chloe Matthews, and sophomore
Sarah Ramirez placed second with a time of 4:22.02. Valenti went on to place second in the 50 free with a time of 25.92 while Matthews earned second in the 200 fly with a time of 2:23.87.

Meghan Seidberg went back-to-back in the 200 yard breaststroke to finish second and third, respectively. Miller finished with a time of 2:43.05 and Seidberg was right behind at 2:43.16.
The 200 yard freestyle saw senior
Gabi Acosta and sophomore
Ella Bouvier went two-three with times of 2:14.69 and 2:22.72, respectively.
The 200 free relay earned a second-place finish with a time of 1:46.33. Union's team was made up of Furtado, Silver, Valenti, and Matthews.
The 100 fly saw Union take second through fourth. Senior
Maya Gerber grabbed second with a time of 1:06.89, only 0.76 seconds off of the first-place finisher. Sophomore
Samantha Picciotti earned second with a time of 1:08.64 and first-year
Maddie Stanley rounded out the trio in 1:10.85.
Senior
Aurelie Truquet won the one-meter diving with a score of 200.47. First-year
Aaron Armstrong finished second with a score of 142.95 and first-year
Maggie Clifford took third with a score of 110.77. Truquet scored 198.07 in the three-meter diving to earn first.
The Garnet Chargers will turn their attention to the 2025 Liberty League Championships beginning on Wednesday, February 19 held on the campus of Ithaca College.
