SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College women's swimming and diving team returned to action with a 221-36 loss to Amherst College on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Gym Pool.
Junior
Drew Hill put together a strong meet individually with two top-three finishes and a personal best time of 2:01.61 in the 200 butterfly to finish fourth. Hill was edged out at the wall to finish second in the 50 fly with a time of 23.65. The junior recorded a third-place finish in the 100 free, clocking in at 49.52, exactly one second off the first-place finisher.
Senior
Tony Piacentini earned points in his races with a fourth-place finish in the 1000 free (11:06.38), a fifth-place finish in the 200 free (1:59.55), and a fourth-place finish in the 500 free (5:14.76).
First-year
Brayden Green set a personal best time of 2:13.76 in the 200 fly to finish sixth overall. Green also added a season-best time in the 50 fly with a time of 25.62.

Union is back at home next weekend with a tri-meet with Springfield College and Hartwick College on Saturday. The first event is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Alumni Gym Pool.
