PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Union College men's crew team wrapped up its fall season with three boats competing at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday.

Union's A boat in the Men's Club Championship 8+ event posted the top finish of the day for the Garnet Chargers, placing second in its division and 24th out of 45 entries overall with a time of 12:43.49. Sophomore Erika Canaveral guided the boat as coxswain with senior Sam Flynn (stroke), junior Kenny Kromer (7 seat), junior Tyler Perry (6 seat), junior Stuart Livingston (5 seat), senior Erik Roberts (4 seat), senior Ben Stern (3 seat), junior Angus Hall (2 seat), and senior Josh Atkinson (bow).

The Garnet Chargers' B boat also raced in the Men's Club Championship 8+, finishing 34th out of 45 crews with a time of 13:09.11. The Garnet Chargers were sixth in their division. Sophomore Elizabeth Canaveral handled coxswain duties for the lineup of sophomore Daniel Vega (stroke), sophomore Ian Porter (7 seat), junior Reed Will (6 seat), junior Wolfgang Bodge (5 seat), first-year Ben Kittelberger (4 seat), first-year Nico Sanza Stribling (3 seat), senior Jack Savage (2 seat), and senior Cody Morrison (bow). Canaveral's group were the highest-finishing 2nd Varsity boat of the day in its event. 

Union's Men's Collegiate Frosh/Novice 8+ crew placed ninth out of 13 boats with a time of 13:35.50. The Garnet Chargers posted the third-fastest time among novice DIII boats and earned bronze medals for their efforts. First-year Spencer Struyk served as coxswain for a lineup featuring first-year Nate Nguyen (stroke), first-year Samar Rokkam (7 seat), junior Ben Tohanczyn (6 seat), first-year Ben Grassi (5 seat), first-year Nicholas Livingston (4 seat), first-year Taekjin Jeong (3 seat), first-year Jesse Balboni (2 seat), and first-year Thomas Unkles (bow).

The Head of the Schuylkill concludes the fall season for the Union men's crew team. The Garnet Chargers will return to the water in the spring for the 2026 campaign.
